The client was keen to use old red bricks just like he has seen on our website. We installed a new reinforced concrete base and laid the bricks in a stretcher pattern with a border. It’s the sort of driveway that will look the same in 20 years and won’t go out of fashion.

An older house in Moonee Ponds had just been extended and renovated on the inside. The back areas levels were all set up for the construction of a retaining wall and a back entertaining area with sideway and front yard pathways. Bricks were used in the retaining wall to match the house extension bricks and a slate moulded concrete paver was chosen which best suited the crushed rock and sand base laying method.

After a house extension the owner had a blank canvas in the backyard and wanted to fix up the front yard at the same time. A outdoor entertaining area was needed and synthetic grass for the kids. Lilly Pillys were chosen for hedge planting for privacy. The same pavers were cut in half and used for a garden edge in the front yard and buffalo turf rolls were laid out.

The owner of this property had already given the design process a lot of thought and was certain on everything she wanted all the way down to the plant selection and mulch choice. A formal style yard with a bluestone pathway, box hedges, roses and gardenias. Paragon Landscapes gave the yard a focal point by building a star jasmine espallier screen on the side in the background to the large urn placed in the middle of the space.
